NRB Bearings’ Pantnagar facility opened

NRB Bearings Ltd., manufacturer of the widest range of bearings and automotive components, has opened its new manufacturing facility at Pantnagar in Uttarakhand.

The modern plant, which was completed in a record time of eight months, was inaugurated by Ms. Harshbeena Zaveri, President of the company, at a ceremony which was attended by representatives of the company’s major customers like Tata Motors and Bajaj Auto.

The occasion was graced by Mr. Tilak Raj Behar, ex-Minister and sitting MLA of Rudrapur, who complimented NRB Bearings for its first venture in Uttarakhand and wished it all success.

Ms. Harshbeena Zaveri, President of NRB Bearings Ltd., said the Pantnagar unit is part of the company strategy on location of plants in close proximity to customers and continually strive to be the most preferred bearings supplier to all important customers.

Involving an initial investment of Rs. 25 crores, the new production facility will manufacture ball & roller bearings for the domestic market. Spread over 2,17,525 square feet, it will have a capacity of producing over 22 million ball & roller bearings over the next three years.
