Kendrion Linnig has established a manufacturing facility in India at Pune for manufacturing electromagnetic clutches for engine cooling and air conditioning in buses, trucks and specialized vehicles.
Dr. Uwe Spoerl, Managing Director of the company, said: “Our Indian project is progressing well. We have appointed a Qualified Manager, rented a facility in Pune and started localisation of our products. In the first phase, we will assemble and in the second phase, we will start manufacturing locally. We are planning to bring the full range of our products to India”.

“We are working with most of the important customers in India at the moment and have been able to convince them with our products and technologies. We hope to be able to start supplies this year. We are building an assembly line in Germany which is under testing and will then be transferred to India shortly”, said Dr. Spoerl.
